INVESTIGATION OF AN IMPROVED SIDE VENTILATION SYSTEM IN A POULTRY HOUSE USING CFD

One of the main factors in poultry house is maintaining a standardized microclimate. The quality product output final result depends precisely on indicators air parameters. Poultry during its maintenance requires significant efforts and technological solutions. In this regard, authors improved microclimate system environment by installing exhaust fans side wall total number 8 units. CFD modeling using ANSYS Fluent powerful tool for predicting flow scheme considered an alternative to experimental studies. Based obtained results modeling, it was established that valves located at height 330 mm from ceiling work most efficiently. Pressure drop inlet 45.85 Pa. Air velocity supply equal 9.17 m/s. 0.7 m floor level varies within 0.57 m/s, temperature 9.91 °С.
